These past few weeks we have had so many queries about our family shoots, so I though I would write a little blog for you guys to give you a little more info.
We really enjoy doing family shoots down at Xposure. We really enjoy creating both timeless family portraits along with contemporary and quirky family imagery too. We can tailor your shoot to whatever style of shoot you would like for example, fun and colourful, plain and simple, vintage or retro. Most people choose for mum to have the makeover but extra Makeovers can be purchased if there is more than 1 person that will want one. All of our makeovers are done by industry based Make Up Artists. The makeover lasts up to an hour and you can choose exactly how you want your hair and make-up from natural to dramatic. Although natural make up is normally the most popular for family shoots.
Mum and daughter shoots are also very popular this year. If you are planning a day out with your mum or daughter soon, you should come to us for a makeover and photosession. Our session really is such a perfect way of spending some quality time together
One of the questions which people who are coming for family shoots always ask is
'What outfits shall we bring?'
I always suggest a mixture of looks first off so that you have a variety of different looks within your images. I would also ask people to consider what can of photograph they would want to put up in their home, so deciding upon colours which would match the interior of your home would be a great idea. I also think that timeless outfits such as having everyone in a white t-shirt and jeans works really well, these kinds of outfits do not date as quickly as more fashionable wear does. But no matter what kind of outfits you bring along, our creative team will make sure they suit the sets and lighting during your photo session.
After your makeover, the photoshoot lasts around 1hr and within this time we will get through 3-4 outfits. Within the hour we will photograph you and your family on various backdrops as well as the classic plain white, again so that you have lots of different images to choose from.
After your session there will be a short wait of around 15 minutes and then you will get to see all your images fully re-touched. And so there is no need to make a second journey to us!
Our packages are the most competitive in the North West for this standard of imagery and lots of our clients highly recommend us afterwards. (anything unaffordable can be bought on interest free credit over 12 months and you still get to take your products on the day)
